A Few Additions to Try Out

1) Newsela

Articles can now be shared directly to your Google Classrooms.
Pros: This is an amazing feature! It works for the free accounts and is so simple.
Cons: You have to assign the article to each class individually, but it's so easy to do that I wouldn't consider this a deal breaker.
FYI: If you want the article to show up in the students' Newsela binder, you'll need to assign it through Newsela as well.

2) Template Gallery for Google Docs

Anyone who's ever waded through the templates available for Google Docs will appreciate this clean, streamlined addition. Browse professional templates for use in Docs, Slides, and Sheets.

To see the new templates, create a new Doc, Slide, or Sheet. Then go to File - New - From Template.
